Thinking about a Mac? Now may be the time to get one.

If you have been thinking about getting a computer, getting a new computer or replacing your Windows based PC with a Macintosh now just may be the time to do so.

If you have software that runs only on Windows but yearn to have a Mac take heart in the fact that for the last few years Macintosh computers have had the ability to run Windows natively (without any intervening software - commonly called emulators.) This means that the MacOS and Windows can run concurrently (at the same time) allowing you to get the best of both worlds on one computer!

Apple rarely sells its computers at a discount and forbids its retailers from doing it as well. I have come across some deals that may help you to fulfill your desire to own a Mac. I found these at MacMall.

I have owned Mac's since 1987 for a few simple reasons:

• Mac's just work.
• Fewer (much fewer) virus' and spyware. The last virus I got was over 15 years ago.
• Mac's last for many years (I currently own and use a 12+ year old mac). So if you buy a Mac for $3,000 and it lasts you 12 years you are buying it for only $250 per year or just under $21 per month.
• Although there may be less software available I find it to be better quality.
• And if you want to sell it you can get a better price for it.
